Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters

Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters is located in a Tomigusukugakuryo, southwest of Nara City. Take a view of the East China Sea, City of Okinawa, and Shuri Castle.
It was used as an air-raid shelter for the Imperial Japanese Navy. Inside, there are commander's room, medical office, food and clothing warehouse, and power facility room. On the hilltop, there is a memorial for the navy who lost their life at war.
